The Seafood Shanty first opened in the spring of 1992.
Family owned & operated, the Economides family takes pride in serving only the finest Native New England Seafood. All our fried foods are cooked in 100% Cholesterol Free Vegetable Oil. Our Fish & Clams are delivered daily. Home-made tartar sauce, home-made quahog chowder, hand-cut onion rings and home-made cole slaw with our special recipe are essential to our success.

The Seafood Shanty's next phase of expansion occurred in the year 2000. The original building from the 1950's was demolished and replaced with the current building. Expanded parking area with easy access, landscaping and outside patio dining area with picnic tables and umbrellas overlooking the scenic Cape Cod Canal were also included.
